·     Create a system to address biases during the recruiting, hiring, and evaluation processes;

·     Train leadership to be responsible for training staff and volunteers on equitable practices;

·     Practice and encourage transparent communications in interactions with all stakeholders;

·     Develop and present programming on cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion to provide information and resources to our board, employees, and volunteers;

·     Expand offerings for underrepresented constituents by connecting with other arts or arts focused organizations committed to diversity and inclusion efforts; and

·     Respect and value diverse life experiences and heritages to help ensure that all stakeholders are heard and valued.
